The partnership underpins managed services re-engineered offering.
Mid-market IT services provider blueAPACHE has embedded ControlUp’s AI-driven ControlUp ONE platform into its managed services and will look to offer it as a standalone solution.
This is part of a strategic partnership with ControlUp to deliver a next generation digital employee experience. It shifts what managed services should mean, moving it from reactive support to proactive and autonomous operations.
blueAPACHE is now ControlUp’s strategic delivery partner in the region, pairing the vendor’s DEX telemetry and AI-driven automations platform with the MSP’s (managed service provider) expertise.
The partnership provides blueAPACHE’s service desk with real-time visibility into every user’s device and application experience. This means problems can be detected and often fixed automatically before a ticket is raised.
The platform also allows issues to be self-detected and remediated automatically, reducing the number of incidents that require manual intervention and improving time to resolution.
For customers with their own in-house IT teams, blueAPACHE is also offering ControlUp ONE as a standalone reseller solution, extending into patch management and application layer management alongside endpoint monitoring and automation.
blueAPACHE selected ControlUp in part because of its strength in virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), an area where blueAPACHE has deep experience through partners including Citrix and Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop.
As customer expectations of managed services continue to rise, the partnership underpins blueAPACHE’s managed services re-engineered offering, which the company is progressively rolling out to customers across Australia.
The partnership goes beyond a traditional reseller arrangement, embedding ControlUp ONE into how blueAPACHE designs, delivers and supports managed services, not simply distributing the technology.
blueAPACHE becomes ControlUp’s strategic delivery partner in the region and is running the platform as “customer zero” in its own environment.
It moves the definition of managed services has moved beyond monitoring and patching, said blueAPACHE CEO Michael Zuppa.
“This is about being able to visually present value back to customers in a way that is meaningful to them. Customers no longer simply want incidents resolved.
“They want problems detected and, wherever possible, fixed before they are even aware there was one.”
According to Zuppa, blueAPACHE are lifting managed services to an even higher standard beyond just monitoring, as these services are now coupled with capabilities that are contextual and centred on the actual experience.
It also includes application performance and device health of every user, not just incidents and patch management.
“This is what customers should expect from their managed services partner,” Zuppa added. “We are lifting managed services to an even higher standard beyond just monitoring.
“Capabilities are contextual and centred on the actual experience, application performance and device health of every user, not just incidents and patch management.
“This is what customers should expect from their managed services partner.”
ControlUp senior vice president global partners alliances Bob Johnson said blueAPACHE has the technical depth to embed its platform properly rather than just resell it.
“Managed services are moving quickly from reactive support to proactive, AI-driven endpoint management, and we are seeing demand for managed extended experience grow quickly across the mid-market,” he said.
“Partners and alliances are how we meet that demand. blueAPACHE is a strong partner to build that capability here.”
