The blueAPACHE Traineeship Program was developed in early 2021, with the first intake of trainees welcomed in March that same year. Since the commencement on the program, blueAPACHE has welcomed three cohorts of trainees into the business, with a new intake occurring every 6 months.
The program was developed to help build a true foundational career pathway for those interested in the IT industry. Aiming to employ individuals who possess the right aptitude and attitude, the program seeks to give participants the opportunity to work across an array of technologies, with the intention of building best-practice operators who carry the right skills needed to not only succeed in IT, but excel as a valued member within blueAPACHE.
The first year of the program sees trainees work within the User Access Management department learning fundamental skills within live environments, whilst the second year focuses on the application of these learnings, working within the Frontline department of the Service Centre. As part of the program, participants attain formal qualifications, Certificate III and IV Information Technology through our education partner, Business Integrity College.
