Government and Public Sector Assurance, service continuity and data handling Managed Services, Security, GRC, Cloud and Advisory as scoped Request evidence for required controls and service-specific residency; framework claims do not establish authorisation Request a relevant government reference
Healthcare and Aged Care Availability, privacy and records retention Managed Services, Security, Cloud, storage and backup as scoped Confirm applicable privacy, retention and recovery requirements The anonymised pathology-provider example describes STaaS across three data centres
Utilities Resilient operations, connectivity and governance Managed Services, Connectivity, Security and Cloud as scoped Confirm requirements for the actual organisation and workloads The Utilities page links Archers, a strata manager; this is not evidence of a utility-operator deployment

How to read the sector pages

We bring our emPOWER portfolio to each industry with a focus on its operational priorities. We work with you to reduce cost and complexity, improve resilience and productivity, and plan for growth.

Sector notes

Financial services. Honan Insurance provides a named financial-services example. Its case study describes a whole-of-business move to the emPOWER portfolio after network outages with an incumbent provider, with us remediating a Palo Alto Networks estate before contract signature. Clause 10 applies under its stated customer and service conditions. Where a customer requires a BCP under clause 15, clause 10.4 specifies content and testing; clause 10.6 permits a joint technical review with disclosure limits. Clauses 10.5 and 10.7 address the respective customer-paid costs.

Government and public sector. Assess the applicable controls and request relevant references. Published material cites Essential Eight Maturity Level 3, NIST, Australian residency and ISO/IEC 27001:2022, alongside clause 17 security duties. These statements do not establish government authorisation, customer compliance or certification of individual services. Buyers should note that clause 18.3 records a standing overseas transfer consent for Personal Information and that clause 27.4 permits subcontracting without the customer's prior written consent, without waiving notification duties elsewhere; see Data sovereignty and privacy.

Healthcare and aged care. The pathology provider case study is the evidence: hundreds of clinics, a legal duty to keep records for at least 10 years, and a move from tape to immutable STaaS replicated across three data centres with fixed pricing. The client is anonymised and the document undated, so it is illustrative rather than a dated reference.

Not for profit. Two examples are Brotherhood of St. Laurence and Berry Street. Brotherhood of St. Laurence grew from 900 to 1500 staff and 17 new locations on our WAN, managed services and IaaS, and achieved ISO 27001 for its NDIS bid; Berry Street mobilised 1400 staff to work from home in March 2020 and described a Teams telephony migration in progress when the case study was written. Their narratives include historical events around 2020; these do not establish current relationship status.

Professional services. The industry page links three internal-use examples: Zoom for our service desk and contact centre, CyberArk identity security for our business and managed services, and HPE GreenLake for our private cloud. The industry label is distinct from the contractual Professional Services category. Archers, a Queensland strata manager with six offices, is the client example: fixed-price IT-as-a-Service, emPOWER Cloud IaaS, private MPLS WAN with FortiGate, Teams calling and Intune, with links upgraded from 20/20Mbps to 400/400Mbps.

Retail and consumer services. Lovisa and Sealy are both multi-country rollouts: RingCentral RingEX to 42 countries in four weeks, and an 18-site voice and data network across three regions with legacy links kept live for fallback. Both show our international delivery from an Australian base.

Transport and logistics, utilities. Our utilities page lists Archers as a related case study, describing its strata operations. RMS Transport Solutions provides a historical transport-sector example; confirm current references with us.

Do you sell industry-specific products?

The industry pages describe sector priorities and map them to the emPOWER portfolio. Specific products, services, scope and commercial terms depend on the engagement. The advertised models are Managed Services, emPOWER Operational Capability and Technology Services; confirm availability where Operational Capability is marked Coming Soon.

Which sectors have named case studies?

Named examples include Honan Insurance, Brotherhood of St. Laurence, Berry Street, Lovisa, Sealy of Australia and Archers. Archers operates in strata management and is classified under Utilities on its case page; Sealy is a manufacturer. The pathology example is anonymised, and RMS Transport Solutions is a historical transport example. These examples are not an exhaustive client list.

What do you offer APRA regulated financial services customers?

Confirm the services and applicable agreement. Where clause 10's conditions apply, it addresses customer warranties and APRA Requests, adds requirements for a BCP requested under clause 15, and permits a joint technical review with disclosure limits. BCP testing is every six months or when reasonably requested, with results within 7 days; clauses 10.5 and 10.7 govern the respective customer-paid work.

What is the healthcare evidence?

A private pathology provider with hundreds of clinics replaced tape archiving with our STaaS built with HPE, combined with emPOWER Cloud and Network connectivity. Records that must be kept for at least 10 years are held immutably across three data centres at fixed, predictable cost with no egress or ingress charges.

Why do not-for-profits feature so strongly?

Berry Street's Head of IT cited experience with NFPs and similar values as selection reasons; Brotherhood of St. Laurence used the consumption-based model to avoid up-front capital investment.

Which services suit multi-site retail?

emPOWER Connectivity with SASE for stores and offices, cloud voice (RingCentral or Teams) for store communications, Managed Services for support, and Human Risk Management for distributed staff. Lovisa's 42-country RingCentral rollout and Sealy's 18-site network are the published examples.

Is there evidence for government work?

Request a government reference relevant to your requirements. Published framework and residency statements are not proof of a government engagement or authorisation. Confirm the required assurance evidence, service-specific residency, ISMS scope and subcontracting arrangements.

What do the self-referential case studies show?

They illustrate our internal use of Zoom, CyberArk identity security and HPE GreenLake. These examples sit alongside the Customer Zero operating-model description; they do not establish that every customer receives an identical technology stack.

How current are the case studies?

The Archers source is dated 2026; Lovisa's source carries a 2024 copyright date. Sealy describes an April 2022 go-live, while Honan, Berry Street and Brotherhood of St. Laurence describe earlier events. Publication, copyright and event dates are different; none alone confirms a current contract or relationship.
