The second in our Insight Event series, blueAPACHE is delighted to be hosting an exclusive round table luncheon with VMware storage evangelist and PernixData co-founder; Satyam Vaghani.

The event

Strictly limited in numbers, this exclusive luncheon is an intimate affair limited to a single table that offers an amazing opportunity to get up close and personal with one of the world’s leading storage specialists.

Formally CTO at VMware Storage, Satyam co-founded PernixData to create new ways for organisations to extend the life and improve the performance of their storage investments.

As storage needs continue to grow exponentially, this is a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with one of the most respected minds in the industry – an opportunity to learn how virtualisation has changed the requirements for storage today, and where it is going tomorrow.

About SatyamSatyam

Based in Silicon Valley, Satyam co-founded PernixData in 2012 at the age of 32. Prior to this he was the Principal Engineer and CTO at VMware Storage, where he spent over a decade delivering fundamental storage innovations in vSphere. He is best known for creating the Virtual Machine File System (VMFS), which set a storage standard for server virtualisation. Satyam has authored 50+ patents, led industry-wide changes in storage systems and standards via VAAI, and has been a regular speaker at VMworld and other industry and academic forums.
